ADB is back at Prolight+Sound 2017!
ADB’s relaunch at ProLight+Sound 2017 was one of the most significant events at the show. The historic French company, founded in 1920, is among the few that can boast such a long history and experience in the entertainment industry. In almost a hundred years, ADB lights have been installed in the most important theatres and television studios in the world, including the Palais Garnier, Beijing’s National Grand Theatre, the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, to name but a few.
Recently, thanks to its takeover by the specialized lighting company Claypaky, ADB has been relaunched on the international scene with great energy.
Simone Capeleto, ADB CEO, said: “At Prolight+Sound, we did not only receive a great deal of affection and esteem for a ‘big’ returning to the international scene, but also very positive feedback on the new products we are launching on the market, particularly the Klemantis, a LED cyclight with asymmetrical optics and a truly innovative white and colour light production system.”
ADB has incomparable experience in producing lighting systems for theatres, which cover the entire market demand: traditional and moving lights, dimmers, lighting consoles, and hanging systems. In addition, the company also deals with lighting system design, thus providing a true turnkey service.
Simone Capeleto adds: “Thanks also to Claypaky’s support, we are working intensively on several fronts: on the sales side to provide the company with a sound international distribution network; on marketing, to re-establish the values the company was founded on and combine them with the needs of modern communication; and, above all, we are working hard on our products, to provide them with cutting edge technology to face the challenges of the future.”
